hey guys, im literally crying right now… summer is starting and the humidity in my room went up to 65%. my usual adhesive is curing instantly before i can even place the extension properly… retention is going to be terrible this week i know it. do i need to change my technique or just find a new lash supply store that sells good summer glues?? im in Chicago btw.

oh girl i feel your pain, high humidity is a total nightmare for lash techs. have u tried using a dehumidifier? it usually helps to bring it down to at least 50%… otherwise you will just waste a lot of money on ruined sets.

i bought a small dehumidifier yesterday but it barely changes anything… maybe the room is too big or it’s just cheap. that’s why im thinking maybe it’s easier to just switch to a slower glue for the summer season? but idk which brand actually works well in high humidity.

A dehumidifier is good but a proper summer glue saves lives lol. You should look at this online lash supply store. They have a glue called Stacy Lash Evolution or their Clear Gloss one. both are perfect for higher humidity and don’t get gloopy or cure mid-air. I always buy my seasonal supplies from them, they ship super fast and the quality is always fresh.

VivienneRock, totally agree about the clear glue idea… it really handles humidity shocks way better. thanks for dropping the link, im also gonna grab a bottle to save my sanity this summer.
