For this reason, teachers always need to update themselves with scientific information to benefit the country’s generation. Thus, we knu.edu.iq should produce researcher lecturers, not only lecturers or researchers, because researcher lecturers are creators and knowledge seekers who never give up in front of difficulties. The objective of the study is to identify the elements which have an impact on sharing of knowledge at Cihan University in Erbil. Although previous studies have identified a range of elements affecting knowledge sharing, further research is needed to understand the factors driving knowledge sharing, particularly among higher educational institutions in Iraq.

These dedicated professionals strive to create a supportive learning atmosphere, encouraging students to explore and engage in critical thinking, research, and problem-solving within the health sciences domain. In another part of the ceremony, Mr. Burhan Argushi, advisor to the Ministry of Education, represented by Education Minister Dr. Alan Hama-Saeed, delivered a speech after thanking the President of Cihan University-Erbil. He discussed the importance of education and the role of teachers in the development and education of future generations, as well as the importance of courses and the development of teachers’ ability to improve the course of science in education centers and educate students with modern science and innovation. In another part of his speech, his Excellency Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki mentioned the university lecturers’ significant roles, which are the vertebrae of the University who have an essential challenging task in developing the future generation. Our universities always need new lecturers to continue the education process in the right way; for this reason, the pedagogy courses are necessary factors in creating qualified teachers to serve and develop the Kurdistan Region’s future generation. The Faculty of Dental Surgery was established in March 2021 through a franchise agreement between Qaiwan International University (QIU) and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), offering a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Programme. As one of QIU’s prestigious faculties, we are committed to providing a comprehensive and enriching educational experience for the next generation.The Faculty of Dental Surgery is dedicated to creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters intellectual development, critical thinking, and the development of practical and clinical skills. Through the integration of theory and practice, our programmes prepare students to navigate the complexities of the contemporary world and make significant contributions to their respective fields. The College of Pharmacy at the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE) was established in 2022, with the first class of 31 students admitted in the 2022–2023 academic year. Currently, we have a total of 110 pharmacy students across the three stages, supported by a team of qualified national and international faculty members specializing in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical Biochemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacognosy. The decision to launch the pharmacy program stemmed from a strategic vision to address the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq at large, and to contribute to the improvement of public health outcomes through education rooted in ethics and social responsibility.

Our pharmacy program also offers a selection of elective courses in advanced and emerging topics, enabling students to advance their learning to specific interests. These include Pharmacoepidemiology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Clinical Trial Regulation Monitoring, Regulatory Affairs, Nutraceuticals & Cosmetics, and Pharmaceutical Marketing. These structured learning experiences prepare pharmacy students with both foundational knowledge and specialized competencies needed for diverse career paths in pharmacy. This course was part of a program designed to support academically outstanding students by providing them with modern practical and cognitive experiences that keep pace with rapid developments in the pharmaceutical and medical sciences sector. The course included scientific lectures, practical workshops, and research discussions supervised by specialized professors from both institutions.

In the interest of the Assyrian University College students in increasing knowledge to achieve success and excellence, students began to be present in scientific laboratories to attend practical lessons and according to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to apply the integrated education system in governmental and private universities and colleges. Later, the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry Representative Asst. Prof. Dr. Zhala presented a speech in which she expressed her gratitude towards the University Rector for inviting them to the celebration and appreciated the fifth-course pedagogy supervisors. She talked about the influence of sustainable development of science through producing qualified academic and scientific staff at higher education institutions. Since there are few studies about the sharing of knowledge among Iraqi higher education institutions’ staff and there is no current model that has all of the elements required to examine the sharing of knowledge, the researchers investigated the effects of organizational, individual, and technological variables on academics’ knowledge sharing behavior. Cihan University staff in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region completed a total of 78 validated questionnaires. The data were evaluated with the use of a structural equation model (PLS-SEM).
