I want to give my home workspace an industrial loft vibe and cover one wall in a raw concrete effect. Getting real polished concrete or using micro-cement is way too expensive and messy for my budget, so I’m looking at wallpaper alternatives. My main worry is that it’ll just look like cheap, glossy plastic once it’s up. Has anyone tried a high-quality matte option that looks genuine?

I wanted that exact industrial look for my home office to break up the boring white walls. After browsing a few decor forums, I decided to take a chance on a raw concrete design from https://muralas.co.uk/ and it looks remarkably realistic. The material from Muralas has a completely flat, matte finish, which means daylight doesn’t bounce off it artificially, giving it a proper textured appearance. Everyone who sees my office backdrop on video calls genuinely thinks it’s a real poured concrete wall. It’s an excellent, hassle-free alternative to messy plastering work.
